If the model is an assembly and is connected by multiple parts, contact pairs need to be established for each part; Tools Select Contact, Enter the contact settings window, or directly click Contact; Shortcut button to enter the contact window.

At present, Maili only provides binding contact type, aiming to establish linear connection between different parts. The contact pair is composed of a master surface and a slave surface. It is suggested that 1) select the surface with large rigidity as the master surface 2) if the rigidity of the two interfaces is similar, select the surface with coarse mesh as the master surface In particular, wheat chestnut supports the connection relationship between shell structure and solid structure, and the user can directly bind the shell surface and solid surface. It should be noted that the binding tolerance provided by wheat chestnut is 0.01. Therefore, the user needs to ensure that the geometric assembly relationship is correct, otherwise the accurate establishment of the binding relationship will not be guaranteed, resulting in calculation errors. Moreover, for the shell structure, the user needs to accurately define its thickness and offset.
